Russian car market has decreased by 63% in October 2022

RusAutoNews.- As announced by the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee, the Russian car market has decreased by 62.8%, or by 76,481 units year-on-year in October 2022, and amounted to 45,228 vehicles.

Within the January-October period of this year 502,474 cars were sold in total, 60.8% less than last year’s figure.

Lada is the most popular brand of the market in October with 19,145 units sold. The sales of the brand has declined 25% year-on-year in October. Second spot is occupied by the Chinese brand Haval with 4,426 units and with 8% less sales than last year’s figure. GAZ LCV has the third place in the ranking with 3,912 units sold, with 33% year-on-year fall.

Lada Granta was the most popular model in October with 12,426 units sold.
